Few artists embody the fire and heart of Irish and Scottish folk music like Robin James Hurt. Born in Belfast, raised in Scotland, and now calling Wexford home, his journey as a guitarist, singer, and songwriter has been nothing short of remarkable. A celebrated artist with a global fanbase, Robin’s career has seen him share stages with legends such as Ronnie Drew, Sinéad O’Connor, Finbar Furey, Camille O’Sullivan, and Linda Coogan Byrne, carving out a reputation for his raw energy, breathtaking musicality, and unparalleled storytelling.
‘Take Me Home’ is a rousing folk-rock anthem that captures the bittersweet pull of home for those who have left its shores. With searing instrumentation, impassioned vocals, and an energy that demands to be heard live, this track is set to become a St. Patrick’s week staple.

Comment from RJH: “The first co-write by Tony and Robin James, which led to a whole album of songs I never would have conceived without Tony’s amazing words. It was written in the winter 2020, as an escape from a strange, locked down world. Then later recorded in winter 2024 at The Flux Capacitor, Kilmichael, Co Wexford”
